December 11, 1948 A Short Letter With No News

Dear Mother & Daddy,

"I hope you are rested some by now, Mother.  I'm so glad Grandma feels well enough to read a little.  That must help all of you.

We have had a light snow but most of it has melted in today's sun.  Bobby and I went for a walk while it was snowing for I wanted to see what he'd do.  He didn't even seem to notice it.

If all goes well, we plan to come home on Monday before Xmas.  It will be late for we're going to stop at Buddy's for a few minutes.  I won't write again unless we have to change our plans.

I'm practically done with my shopping but haven't wrapped anything or mailed any cards.

There just isn't any news.  The Christmas activities begin this week at the college but I don't know whether we'll go to any of them or not.

We'll be seeing you soon."

                Lots of love,

                       B, Bonnie & Bobby
