Ligature wire--Dr. Disselharst, Wisconsin.  In the middle of the Aegean Sea!

 Launch to barren island.  Birthplace of Apollo.  Hot, dry, drained lake with planted palm in center. (Leto leaned against one when Apollo born.)

    I thought, dogs? seals? lions? Wikipedia says lions.
