"Sunny but cold. Painting class met here. B met his class, rushed home, ate lunch & rushed to Osaka to bank. Got my special order shoes--very nice. E.S.S. unexpectedly came & asked to come here. No classroom available. Planned cookies & tea for 25--36 came. Borrowed cups & Teruko-san ran after more cookies.
After children in bed we went to Harbin's to show our slides for the new Fulbright people, the Thompsons."
