March 10 and 11, 1951 Three Teeth, A Real Good Circus, A Real Nice Style Show and A Pink Nylon Dress

Clipping in the letter

Dear Mother, Daddy and Grandma,

"It is awfully quiet around here for it is only 5:00 in the morning.  Ann gets up at 5:00 every morning and there seems to be no way you can keep her in bed longer.  She is on whole milk now but still has to eat at night.  I wonder if she'll ever give that up.  It's tough having to get up in the middle of the night and then so early.  Her three teeth are growing fast but there aren't any signs that she'll get another one soon.

We went to the circus last night at school.  The physical education club gives one every year and it is real good.  It lasts too long or we would take Bobby.

The Newcomers Club invited all old members to a style show on Thurs. night and I went with Eve.  It was real nice.

I have ordered me a pink nylon dress out of the New York Times but it hasn't had time to come.  I wanted nylon because they are always ready to wear--no wrinkles.  That gold one of mine hasn't been pressed since I bought it.

I didn't know Beulah was moving.  Is Ralph's house done?  She sent Ann's dress and me a blouse for my birthday but didn't write anything.

Ann has had her last shot and will be vaccinated for smallpox in May if there isn't any contagious disease going around.

I guess I'll have to stop and give Ann a bottle.  She is getting cross."

        Lots of love,

                Bonnie
