April 5, 1968 The Missing Letter

Note to Readers:

I regret that the letter written about the death of MLK is missing.  I suspect that my grandmother circulated it among family and friends, as was her habit with such letters, and it was lost.  Not unlike the day of the Kennedy assassination, the house was still. It would be only the second time I had ever seen my parents' grief result in tears.  The letters resume tomorrow, as usual.
