June 16, 1954 The Last Painting Class

 

Diary Entry:  June 16, 1954

"Last painting class.  Gave Mrs. Sawada a double deck of playing cards.  We painted fans & had to paint one for her.

 

After children asleep went to prayer meeting at Bray's.  Bill showed slides he had taken of Christian relics from collection owned my director of Elizabeth Sanders home where they adopted Margaret.  Very interesting.

Told Elva & Charlie Harper goodbye.  They go to Korea tomorrow night."
